The Historic Mon Desir, 4615 Hamrick Road, Central Point, Oregon

Festivities will begin with a red carpet welcome at 7 o'clock. Hosts and hostesses will escort guests to a festively decorated pavilion situated adjacent to the Mon Desir. White-gloved attendants will pass hors d'oeuvres while the Dorian String Quintet presents classical background music. Executive Chef Steve Bunch has planned a luxurious seated dinner at eight o'clock in the dining rooms of the Mon Desir, followed with a decadent dessert buffet and dancing to the big band sounds of The Swing Kings. A champagne toast at midnight will welcome in the New Year.

The Mon Desir, polished with historic charm, is alive in festive grandeur for the holidays. Current owners of the Mon Desir have given Carlotts's Custom Catering the opportunity to decorate and hold holiday events in the restaurant's numerous rooms, through December 2005. Rooms include; the lavish Green Room; the Mirror Room made famous by stage and silver screen star, Ginger Rogers; the Crystal Room with its original regal and brilliantly magnificent crystal chandelier; the Velvet Room, a large banquet hall where the big band sounds of The Swing Kings  will play for its final grand event on New Year's Eve 2005. The Redwood Lounge, complete with a large dark wood bar built in England in the 1800's, a brought to America in 1966, is polished for its final grand occasion.

The New Year's Eve 2005 Charity Gala, "Southern Confetti" will celebrate and remember this lovely culinary inn. Two hundred guests, the cream of Rogue Valley society, will gather for a luxurious black tie dinner-dance as the well wishers extend farewell to a Rogue Valley culinary lifestyle enjoyed over the past sixty years at the historic Mon Desir Dining Inn.

The Mon Desir Dining Inn attracted many visitors, special events, numerous dignitaries, stage and screen stars, as well as local residents.
